In fact, in the Terai region, even Hindi language is spoken. Some of the extinct languages of Nepal are inclusive of Kusunda and Waling.

Numerous festivals of Nepal usually last one to several days. One of the most important festivals of Nepal is Dashain (denoting victory over demons). Diversity of its culture is also experienced in the food and drinks with dal-bhat and tarkari (vegetable curries), being its usual hilly staple food.
